Closest to NY bagels style deli within Pembroke Pines/Broward County, FLA. The Lox/Nova quality is always top notch. I look forward to patronizing Mayor's with friends, at least three times weekly after every tennis or pickelball session.
I moved from Pembroke Pines but was in the area and decided to come for lunch. Had a great hot pastrami on rye bread with spicy brown mustard. It came with freshly made potato salad and half a garlic pickle. Very generous serving of pastrami.
If you want a filling breakfast, this is your place. I got the 3 egg ham and cheese omelette and it was huge! The potatoes were sweet and delicious. Never had potatoes that tasted like that. The service was good even though it was a bit busy. But then again this place is always busy. The staff was great. The best way I can describe the atmosphere is that of the show Cheers but at a breakfast place. They were really friendly. You can tell the loyal customers are from New York. Enjoy!
We have been here dozens of times. The crowd speaks for the quality of food. Their bagels are excellent as are their omelets. I often get the bagel with smoked salmon and capers with cream cheese. The coffee is great and even though servers are busy, they hustle to get your order out as soon as possible. It's a very small location in a strip mall. Don't expect to be seated quickly on the weekend. Best bet is take out if you don't want a long wait.
Best bagel sandwich in the world highly recommend the staff is so friendly. I would say come here if you're looking for a new Bagel Place it's the best place in town. Nothing beats the food you truly feel like your family is feeding you!
